1895 – Jesper Hansen (Poul Sigvartsen junior’s grand
grand father) establishes himself as DSB-haulier
in Odense/Denmark.
1935 – Poul Sigvartsen senior enters the company as
partner and the company changes name to
Jesper Hansen & Co.
1972 – Poul Sigvartsen junior buys DSB-haulier business
in Aarhus (K. Kristoffersens Eftf. v/Poul Sigvartsen)
1976 – Samlast A/S is founded as a fusion of
Jesper Hansen & Co., K. Kristoffersen Eftf. and
Viking Expres A/S in Padborg. Poul Sigvartsen
owns 100 %
1978 – Nordcarrier A/S in Copenhagen is bought –
specialist within transportation of wine
1992 – Samlast A/S is sold to Rhenus AG, Dortmund/D.
1993 – Rhenus AG buys Schenker from DB (Deutsche
Bundesbahn)and Poul Sigvartsen is managing
director for Schenker A/S, Denmark.
1997 – A fusion of Schenker Danmark and Albert
Nielsen A/S, Aarhus is made and Poul Sigvartsen
continues as managing director.
1998 – A fusion of Schenker AG and Bilspedition AB,
Sweden is made. Bilspedition AB takes
responsibility for transports in Scandinavia,
UK, Benelux, etc.
1998 - July 01 Poul Sigvartsen buys the wine-activities
from the fusion in 1998 and Samlast ApS is
founded.
2003 – July 01. The “today’s-company” is founded with
Lars Raasthøj & Søren Hansen as partners and still
Poul Sigvartsen as managing director.
2006 – July 01. Poul Sigvartsen retires from daily work. He
continues as chairman of the board.
2006 – August 01. we close our office in Glostrup. All
contact in the future will be effectuated only from
our office in Odense.
2006 – September 29. Søren Hansen og Lars Raasthøj
buys Poul Sigvartsens stocks in Samlast A/S. 2007 – June 1st. we move our company to new adress -
loated close to highway E20 (east/westbound and
Odense/Svendborg) 2011 – July 1st. Samlast A/S and WHT Speditin A/S merges to WHT-Samlast A/S.
